“Jabb Tak
Hai Jaan” did well on opening day and collected 14.75
crores but failed to break the record of 1st day collection of “Rowdy
Rathore” which was 15 crores, biggest non-holiday opener.
The film is released
in festive session but opening is not as big as “Ek Tha Tiger”. The opening day
business was not so big but as the trend developed on 2nd day it will be
outstanding.
The film is
doing very well in West Bengal, Mumbai, Gujarat, Mysore and UP but it gets
tough competition with “SOS: in Northern and Central parts. Word of mouth is
very positive it is clear with second day’s trend and second day trend is very
enthusiastic, all theaters are almost houseful. So, second day collection
should come in the range of 20-22 crores. Within
first week, it will get the status of hit film.
