James Bond-007 series’ 23 film “Skyfall” successfully completed extended weekend on Indian box office and put a handsome amount into its bag. The movie was released on 1st November in India and got fantastic opening of 6.80 crores. At the end of first weekend its collection is 28.50 crores NRI nett.
The film
started well and maintained that pace onward. Performance on first weekend is awesome
and it is better than any Hollywood film released recently expect “The Amazing
Spideman”. Since, it is a multiplex dominated film and whatever Bollywood film
had released on this Friday are single screens dominated that’s why its
business is unaffected.
It will keep
on its performance on weekday because there are an audience group of Hollywood
films who love to watch these films. James Bond series has its own audience
group in entire world. 1st week collection looks around 35-40 crores and lifetime
around 45 crores on Indian box office.
