Ek Thi Daayan is a musical romantic supernatural thriller film
directed by Kannan Iyer. This is first film of Emraan Hashmi in 2013. Besides him
there are Konkona Sen Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin in lead role.
Film is produced under banner of Balajee Telefilm and co-producers
are Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Vishal Bhardwaj, and Rekha Bhardwaj. The story
is penned by Mukul Sharma and Vishal Bhardwaj. It is releasing on 19th April.

STORY: Ek
Thi Daayan movie is a supernatural romantic thriller film with scintillating
climax. This is story of India’s leading
magician Bobo (Emraan) who feels and sees strange thing around him which nobody
can see of feel.
He becomes hunt of
hallucination and compels to consult a psychiatric. He goes on regression (a hypnosis method to
know person’s past life) which reveals a scary story of his childhood. His family
was destroyed by a daayan (witch) and threatens to kill him in future.
He decides to ignore it and move with his life, but when
everything was going well suddenly a girl enters and he convinced that she is
daayan. But what was reality?
PREDICTION:
Since it is a musical, romantic & supernatural thriller film and it is
first film of Emraan Hashmi so film will take good opening but further business
depends on reviews and word of mouth. Though Emraan Hashmi has good fan followers
and horror genre has a certain group of audience but content will play major
role. Right now, opening day collection looks around 5-8 crores.
