Krrish 3 crossed 200 cr in 14 days, 2nd Weekend, 10th day Worldwide Collection

Krrish 3 crossed 200 crores milestone on home box office on its 10th day run. The film had done exceptionally well performance in first week and grossed 166.42 crores. On 2nd weekend, film has done exceptionally well business and grossed around 38 crores. This figure is highest for any film. That means it will finish 2nd week around  57 crores more than 3 Idiots (56 cr), Chennai Express (43 cr) and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani(46 cr).

Though film lost reasonable number of screen on Friday and will loss big number of screen on next Friday owing to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mega film Ram Leela so way get difficult but still there is great chance of breaking highest life time grosser film record registered by Shahrukh Khan starrer film “Chennai Express” two months ago.

Right now, total domestic collection after second weekend is 203 crores, film need 22 crores to break this record. Krrish 3 has collected 38 crores on second weekend and as trend is showing film will collect around 18-20 crores on weekday. That means film will reach around 223 crores after 14 days. So film will break Chennai Express’ record on 3rd weekend or 3rd week.

Now let see, how film performed on 2nd Sunday; the film done very good business on reduced screens space and took around 75% occupancy across the country. The film was exceptionally well at Hydrabad where occupancy reached around 100% and at other big cities it stay between 60-80% whether it was Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi or Gurgaon. Though reports from all center is not yet received but as trend developed till evening show, it looks around 16 crores. Figure can vary so we’ll come back with update. Update collection of Friday and Saturday is 8.81 crores and 13.23 crores.

The film has also collected nice 39 crores from overseas centers and brought total worldwide collection around 243.46 crores.
