Krrish 3 - Sustain well on 11th Day, Woldwide Collection

Krrish 3 had done stupendous business on second Sunday and become fastest 200 crores reaching film. The film had shattered Shahrukh Khan starrer film Chennai Express’ record, registered just two months ago. Now, it is rapidly extending towards highest lifetime figure which is also made by Chennai Express two months ago. The film has collected 204 crores on 2nd weekend which is itself a record.

Now, film enters in second weekdays without big drop; the film showed around 45% from second Friday and collected around 5.5 crores and brought total domestic collection around 210 crores and worldwide around 148.46 crores. Though it is biggest fall in last eleven days but it not point to ponder for maker Rakesh Roshan. Krrish 3 has emerged as 2nd biggest all time blockbuster film and at the end of third week it will reach very close to Chennai Express’ record.

Although, film will lose reasonable number of screens in 4th week due to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mega film “Ram Leela”so collection will definitely affected ( due to lack less screen) but film can snatch CE’s highest lifetime grosser title on 4th weekend or further and will establish a new and difficult benchmark for new films.

2 months ago, when Chennai Express had shattered around 90% old records of box office, it was said that film has set a very difficult mark for coming film and it will be very difficult for any film to go beyond these record but nobody had even think in dream that this film record will licked up dust just after two month. 4 years ago, when 3 Idiots had set a new benchmark of 200 crores, then it was said that it will be very difficult and it happened. 

Chennai Express broke 3 Idiots records after 4 years but CE could not retain this title for more than 2 months. Now, let see what happens next on box office. This Christmas, Amir Khan’s film “Dhoom” is hitting screens and suppose to be a mega hit film.
